Research
I am a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the McVean and Donnelly Groups of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at Oxford University.
In my research I am interested in applying population genetics techniques to better understand the properties and evolution of the human genome. My DPhil focused on the estimation of recombination rates and the detection of recombination hotspots, and my thesis is available for download: "The Estimation of Recombination Rates from Population Genetic Data".
